Por esse fato , exigem o uso preferencial de dois medicamentos para evitar a agregação das plaquetas no sangue , usados por pelo menos um ano ( o ácido acetilsalicílico e o clopidogrel ). Devem ser indicados em pacientes com maior risco de reestenose, como os diabéticos , portadores de placas de ateroma longas e em artérias finas.
